A “family of one” is a state of mind and heart more than a marital status – it is a transformation that requires a mighty change from living “the single life” to recognizing that you are the beginning of a greater, successful family yet to come.

It matters not that once upon a time you traded your birthright for a mess of pottage. What does matter is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, understands all of it perfectly. He is our Savior, the source of our hope, and the finisher of our salvation. He has not forgotten us.

When trials come, look for an opportunity to turn the situation into a positive experience and call on our Father in Heaven to help you. We know from the scriptures that “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
